  • Identification of the material on BirdMap you want removed, with enough detail (a URL) for us to find it.
  • Your name, address, phone number, and email.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are the owner or authorized to act for them.

Counter-notice

If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice with your signature, identification of the removed material and its former location, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief it was removed in error, and your contact information and consent to jurisdiction. We may restore the material unless the original complainant files a court action.

Repeat infringers

We may terminate accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyright.
